Hudson's RapidPick 'Lite' is a scaled -down version of our highly-regarded RapidPick Workcell for users who need high speed colony-picking but can't afford, or don't wish, to couple the automated plate-handling and picking/re-arraying functions with the RapidPick's immediate pre-pick media filling and immediate post-pick sealing of the growth/daughter plate. The RapidPick 'Lite' offers all the capacity, throughput and picking/re-arraying features of the RapidPick workcell, but without media dispensing or plate sealing. And, the RapidPick 'Lite' fits conveniently on most lab benchtops, taking up an absolute minimum of valuable laboratory real estate.
Hudson's new VaryScreen ADME-Tox System is a all-in-one system that is ready, out of the box, to run many of the necessary screens typically used to determine the pharmaceutical profile of a potential drug candidate. It contains liquid handling robots to setup plates for each of the required protocols, and several microplate handlers to store and transport the plates between the liquid handlers, incubator and multi-mode reader. The system comes with a number of built-in standard protocols to help the user get their profiling up and running as quickly as possible.
The Hudson SOLO™ is a low cost, high-throughput single-channel pipettor that can be programmed to do anything expected of a hand-held pipettor, with high accuracy down to 1 microliter. Equipped with a broad dynamic volume range and the ability to handle reactions in a sterile environment, the SOLO can be loaded and operated manually, but is also compatible with robot loading systems from most manufactures, including the Hudson PlateCrane EX.
