HUDSON CONTROL GROUP SHOWCASES NEW TECHNOLOGY AT THE
MERCK TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM, BIOPROCESS CONFERENCE & LRIG SHOW

On May 9th, 2007 Hudson Control Group had the pleasure of
displaying the PlateCrane EX ® in conjunction with Guava Technologies (guavatechnologies.com)
at the Merck Technical Symposium in Eatontown, NJ. This working relationship
with Guava Technologies has allowed pharmaceutical companies, in the scale-up
area, to automate the flow cytometry process while increasing efficiencies. The
associated SoftLinx software is integrated with the Guava flow cytometer's and
compiles the data in a single location for tracking of results and easy data
management. In addition, in the multiple cytometer set-ups, SoftLinx
automatically schedules delivery and retrieval of plates without any additional
user interaction required.
Also, at the recent Merck Symposium, LRIG Show, and BioProcess Conference, the
"exotic" graphically-designed covered PlateCrane EX drew plenty of attention
from attendees, as well as fellow show exhibitors. While people recognized the
PlateCrane's structure, the colorful unit generated added buzz. Based on this
response, Hudson is offering the option of putting graphically unique designs on
the PlateCrane. Please contact us at 973-376-7400 or

for further information.
The Hudson SOLO™ was also unveiled at the LRIG show with great success.
Attendees were impressed with the SOLO's ability to handle reactions in a
sterile environment, it's compact footprint and the SOLO's ability to provide
researchers with walk away freedom and decreased cost of operation due to
continuous unattended operation.
