ChemoRobotics: A New Collaboration With CambridgeSoft and Schrödinger
Alan H. Katz, CSO, Hudson Robotics, Inc.

Hudson recently began a collaborative project with CambridgeSoft and Schrödinger, leaders in the ChemoInformatic field, to create the first commercial system in which intelligent compound selection directly controls plate creation and the execution of biological assays.  This system integrates CambridgeSoft's ChemFinder database software and Schrödinger's computational chemistry tools (such as Glide and Phase) with Hudson's SoftLinx

Hudson Robotics Introduces the RapidHit Automatic Cherry-Picking System

Hudson recently introduced the RapidHit system to help increase the efficiency of the drug discovery screening process.  The RapidHit contains one StackLink filled with the compound source plates that were used to set up a current screen.  A second StackLink is filled with empty plates and disposable pipette tips.  While a screen is being run, the system analyzes the raw data from the microplate reader and automatically begins creating new plates of all compounds that pass a user-defined criteria.

Our List of Instrument Integrations Keeps Growing!
Phil Farrelly, President Hudson Robotics, Inc

A new section of our website lists our current software integrations presented in instrument categories.  Requests for new integrations come in all the time, reflecting the continual advances in the field of lab automation.  A popular category that has increased significantly over the last year is multimode readers, a single box that can support a large number of assays due to the variety of detection technologies they support.  We now support 12 of these devices from BioTek, BMG LabTech, GE LifeSciences, MDC, Berthold and Tecan.
