  NANO 25

Researchers at NIH have purchased a nano25™
8-channel nano-volume robotic pipettor for use in setting up DNA sequencing reactions. The nano25™ was selected by the NIH due to its ability to incorporate a unique closed-loop, pressure-based feedback system that assures precise, verifiable transfers of liquid volumes, and Hudson's Softlinx™ scheduling software, which provides an easy-to-use interface to coordinate the nano25's operation with other instruments.

The nano25™ also has the ability to automatically make "on the fly" adjustments to compensate for variations in temperature, viscosity and residual volume to ensure accuracy. The nano25's automated diagnostics can also detect and correct clogging, self-calibrate on every pipetting cycle and give real-time verification of every volume dispensed.

The product is also compatible with robot loading systems from most manufacturers, including Hudson Control's own PlateCrane EX®, and can be used in-line with Hudson Control's Lablinx® high-throughput track system for unparalleled high-throughput and ease of use.
