RSH-4000 - Accessories

Accessories available for the RSH-4000 include:

 n        96-well Seal Piercers:

a.   Fixed-mount for piercing seals where cross-contamination is not a concern

b.   Automated Piercer with tip-flushing and sanitizing

n   Extensible tracks to allow plates to move to other instruments in Workcell without requiring a robot arm to pickup the plate

n   Barcode Scanner, mounted on stacker, includes software to record plate barcode IDs to user’s database.

n   Replacement tape rolls:

                          a.   Gas-permeable, Breathable Sealing Tape. Gas
                                permeable tape has a white, rayon non-woven
                                backing coated on one side with a pressure-
                                sensitive acrylate adhesive.

b.   Aluminum Foil Sealing Tape. Single coated tape consisting of a 1/4 mil aluminum seal coated with pressure-sensitive acrylate adhesive. Easy to pierce with a metal probe or a plastic pipette.

                          c.  Polyolefin Sealing Tape. Single coated tape of 2.0
                               mil opaque polyolefin film with pressure sensitive
                               acrylate adhesive.

                          d.  Polyester Sealing Tape Single coated tape
                               consisting of 2.0 mil translucent polyester  film
                               with pressure sensitive acrylate adhesive.

                          e.  Repeat-Pierceable Polyethylene Sealing Tape  
                               Pierceable 2.0 mil polyethylene translucent film
                               with a clear pressure sensitive silicone adhesive.
                               Low tack to touch adhesive. Suitable for repeat
                               piercing with metal probe.
