Software that makes dynamic scheduling, data
tracking, multi-tasking of applications and custom modification easy
Hudson Control Group's new, enhanced version of
their standard SoftLinx™ scheduling software is enabling researchers to track
data and have more flexibility in their labs. The new software, SoftLinx for
Systems™, enhances standard SoftLinx™ multi-tasking and optimal scheduling
capability with unmatched capability to transport plates between any instruments
in an integrated system in any order. This software also optimizes equipment
usage by enabling it to be used for different processes simultaneously while
tracking data during a method run. SoftLinx for Systems™ allows users to start
and run additional methods, even while others are already running, even using
the same instruments, pre-planned or not allowing researchers to be more
productive by increasing their walk away time in the lab. SoftLinx for Systems™
is very easy to use and users have the ability to write their own, custom
interfaces as well. This means that every Hudson system is actually many systems
in one and allows lab personnel the flexibility and ease of operation of their
lab automation workcell. SoftLinx for Systems™ takes advantage of Hudson's
LabLinx ® and PlateCrane EX ® plate transport technologies to perform
simultaneous operations that far outclass any track-based robot arm or
plate-handling pipetting robot on the market.
